Job Description

Department: Spares & Lifecycle Support

Experience: 3-7 years in IT Hardware / Server & Storage Spares

Reports to: Head - Spares Business / Regional Sales Head

Role Overview:

We are seeking an energetic, well-connected, and technically aware individual to drive Comprints server and storage spare parts business for End-of-Sale (EOS) equipment. The role includes identifying customers needing upgrade/support spares, engaging with service partners, and delivering solutions across multiple OEM platforms (HPE, Dell, Lenovo, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage channel partners, service providers, and enterprise customers using EOS systems.
  • Understand customer infrastructure and position relevant upgrade or replacement parts.
  • Track support expiry cycles and create opportunities for extended support via spares.
  • Maintain a database of end-of-life hardware models and compatible spares.
  • Co-ordinate with procurement, stock teams, and OEM relationships to ensure delivery timelines.
  • Partner with refurbishing team to validate used or re-certified spare inventory.
  • Drive sales funnel from enquiry to closure, and ensure timely documentation.
  • Participate in B2B customer reviews and maintain relationships for repeat business.

Desired Skills & Competencies:

  • Deep knowledge of server/storage hardware components CPU, RAM, HDD, RAID, controllers, power supplies, fans, etc.
  • Familiarity with HPE, Dell, IBM, Lenovo, Cisco, NetApp platforms.
  • Understanding of R2R lifecycle, AMC models, and third-party support dynamics.
  • Strong analytical ability to match hardware needs with inventory or sourcing options.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Excel for pipeline tracking and reporting.
  • Great communication and partner-facing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Engineering / IT / Electronics or related fields.
  • 2-5 years experience in IT hardware channel sales, spare parts, or lifecycle support.
  • Exposure to EOS lifecycle, refurbished IT market, or grey market ecosystem is a plus.
  • Candidates with experience from vendors, ISPs, or RMA/spares teams will be preferred.
