Job Description
Job Summary:
Qentelli Solutions is looking for an experienced and passionate VB .Net Developer to join our development team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in VB .Net and VB Script, with experience in building and maintaining enterprise-grade applications. The candidate must be able to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills:
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using VB .Net and VB Script.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in legacy and current systems.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with QA, Product Management, and other development teams for seamless delivery.
- Maintain technical documentation for future reference.
- Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness to front-end requests.
- Participate in application upgrades, migrations, and integration efforts as required.
Preferred Skills:
- VB .Net Development Strong hands-on experience with Visual Basic .Net.
- VB Script Proven experience writing and debugging VB Script.
- Strong knowledge of Windows-based application development.
- Solid understanding of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) concepts.
- Experience with SQL Server or similar RDBMS Writing complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, etc..
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good to have:
- Experience with ASP .Net, C#, or other Microsoft technologies.
- Exposure to legacy systems modernization.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, TFS).
- Basic understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
Qualification:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 47 years of relevant experience in VB .Net and VB Script development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team.
