Role Overview
Were looking for a Testing Engineer whos passionate about quality and takes pride in breaking
thingsbefore users do. In this role, you wont just write test scripts; you'll be embedded in the
product development process, ensuring quality is a first-class citizen at every stage.
Youll be testing not just functionality, but experiencesunderstanding how real users interact with
the product and making sure nothing slips through the cracks. From hands-on exploratory testing to
building scalable automation frameworks, your work will directly impact the stability, performance,
and trust our users place in us.
Key Responsibilities Test new features manually to deeply understand user flows, edge cases, and what could go
wrongbefore writing a single line of automation. Write reliable, maintainable, and fast automation scripts using tools like Selenium,
Playwright, or Cypresswith a preference for Java- and Python-based frameworks (e.g.,
TestNG, JUnit, RestAssured, Pytest).
Develop robust test frameworks and reusable components to support fast and reliable testing
across environments.
Work closely with product managers, developers, and designers to ensure quality is baked
into everything from the start.
Testing along with coding, deployments, design, and even documentation.
Help reproduce production issues, identify root causes, and make sure they dont happen
again.
Continuously push for better test coverage, faster test execution, and smarter CI pipelines.
Core Competencies Required
Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals, test case design, exploratory testing,
and bug reporting.
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks using Java (TestNG, JUnit,
RestAssured), along with optional frontend scripting in JavaScript/TypeScript (Cypress,
Playwright, Selenium).
Experience writing test plans and executing manual QA for complex user flows and
integrations.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, API testing tools (like Postman), and backend validation.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Comfortable testing web apps built in modern stacks (React frontend, Java backend, Azure
cloud).
A test-to-break mindset with the discipline to follow up with fixes and improvements.
Bonus if youve worked in product-based companies, where quality can't be an
afterthought.
Experience with performance or load testing tools (JMeter, k6, etc.) would be an added
advantage.
SQL skills to validate backend data is an added advantage
Experience with Azure or any cloud provider is an added advantage
Built or contributed to internal QA dashboards or reporting tools would be an added
advantage.
