Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Software Engineering Manager within the Industrial Automation line of business.

We are seeking a talented and motivated leader with a track record of demonstrated leadership and technical expertise. This person will lead one of our R&D Center of Excellence teams in Process Automation, consisting of over 50 software engineers building innovative software solutions for products in Foxboro Distributed Control System (DCS), SCADA, Process Instrumentation and Remote Operations. This role will be critical in driving our product and process evolution by developing competencies and driving the implementation of best-in-class methodologies and technologies.

What will you do

• Coordinate cross-functionally to innovate rapidly and deliver high-quality and high-value solutions.
• Prepare team members and partners to deliver on our strategic product and technology roadmaps through hiring, upskilling, and implementing growth plans.
• Resource management, responsible for time-tracking, trainings, performance reviews, etc.
• Build agility and resilience by fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement through retrospectives, information sharing, and knowledge management.
• Establish Communities of Practices to accelerate cross-pollination of skills, expertise, and technologies.
• Collaborate across the organization, to promote synergies and enhance digital capabilities of our people, process, and products.
• Mentor, mobilize and motivate with a sense of ownership, accountability, and can-do attitude.

• Bachelor s in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) or similar advanced degree is preferred.
• 10-15 years experience leading full-stack teams, implementing features from concept through delivery and maintenance, while collaborating with product and program management.
• Experience using Agile, SAFe or Lean/Six Sigma processes for rapid development & high-quality delivery.
• Prior experience designing and building scalable, reliable, and highly available systems.
• Preferred experience delivering integrated solutions with software and hardware teams.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps, containerization, application performance monitoring, or test automation is a strong plus.
