Collaboration with Support & Production Teams Coordinate with service engineers, production managers, and automation specialists to optimize machine efficiency.
Maintenance & Optimization of Welding Equipment Ensure efficient operation of robotic and manual welding machines, including MIG, TIG, spot welding, arc welding, and laser welding.
Minimizing Downtime Implement preventive & predictive maintenance to reduce breakdowns in the welding shop.
Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with OSHA, ANSI, ISO 45001, and welding-specific safety standards (e.g., AWS D1.1, CE safety directives).
Spare Parts & Inventory Management Maintain critical spare parts for welding robots, torches, electrodes, and power sources.
Process Optimization & Automation Improve welding efficiency, cycle time, and joint quality by optimizing welding parameters and equipment performance.
Collaboration with Production & Quality Teams Work with welding engineers, production managers, and quality control teams to enhance weld strength, penetration, and defect reduction.
Monitor, maintain, and repair electrical systems of press machines (e.g., hydraulic, mechanical, servo presses).
Troubleshoot electrical faults in PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, motors, control panels, etc.
Ensure minimum downtime by performing preventive and predictive maintenance
Support in installation, electrical wiring, and commissioning of new press machines. Ensure compliance with safety standards during setup.
Monitor power consumption and ensure energy-efficient practices in the press shop.
Suggest improvements to reduce electrical wastage.
Preferred candidate profile
Electrical & pneumatic knowledge Press controls, limit switches, and air pressure regulation.
2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a press shop or metal stamping industry
Strong background in electrical maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, or servo press machines
Expertise in electrical circuit reading, troubleshooting, and panel wiring.
Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
Knowledge of press automation, safety relays, interlocks, and machine guarding systems.
Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems (advantageous).
Comfortable with using multimeters, insulation testers, and other diagnostic tools
Strong background in electrical maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, or servo press machines.
Exposure to PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.), HMI interfaces, and VFDs
