Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Validation of salary structure prepared by Payroll Associates
Carries out Pay sheet workings- Attendance, system uploads, Transfer sheet workings
Responsible for generating overall pay sheet from payroll software and reconcile with existing database
Responsible for monthly payment of professional tax (PT) for all seven states
Verifying EPF, ESI workings of Payroll Associates (Challan generation)
Submission of tagging and costing report to clients
Verifying Earned Leave (EL), Bonus and Gratuity reports
Responsible for uploading data from Payroll to Tally software
Reconciles Earned Leave (EL) details on quarterly basis and uploads the same on Tally software
Verifying gratuity workings and submission of gratuity eligibility list to HR team- Muthu (Workings), Dinesh (Payment release)
Responsible for validating minimum wages changes in salary structure according to different states
Responsible for verifying buffer pay sheet prepared by junior subordinates
Verifying and validating final pay sheet prepared by junior subordinates
Ensure payroll is completed in an accurate and timely manner
Person should be knowledgeable about and understand new legislation impacting payroll
Monitor the accurate processing of staff appointments, transfers, promotions and terminations
Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements and support internal and external audits related as such
Resolve issues relating to payroll functions
Acquiring TDS reports on a monthly basis from finance team for employee salary processing
Responsible for taking care of F&F settlement Process
