Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Work across departments to understand their automation need and develop new automation solutions to achieve the same.

2. Design and develop new automation frameworks if needed.

3. Maintain and enhance existing automation framework.

4. Automate existing/new test cases across applications.

5. Learn, analyse and implement new automation practices/tools within organisation to continuously improve it.

6. Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing as per standards defined by the organization.

7. Onboard automation suites over CI tool (Teamcity) to achieve continuous testing.

8. Daily analysis of all the automation failures and liaise with the team to get the defects raised. 9. Develop and maintain automation utilities to support different teams across verticals.

10. Execute automated client suites and provide regression coverage report across clients before every sprint release.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Should have good communication and stakeholder management skills
2. Should have good knowledge of OOP (Object oriented Programming) concepts, Java, Selenium, Cucumber, GIT
3. Should have good understanding of BDD framework
4. Should have good understanding of API Automation testing
5. Should be aware about SQL Server
6. Experience in setting up Continuous delivery for at least one live project
7. Should have proven abilities in designing and deploying the test framework
8. Should have built reusable frameworks and libraries using Selenium WebDriver that could help to reduce execution time and increase performance
9. Must have technical aptitude to learn new technologies
