We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying interactive and insightful dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Microsoft Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence, data modeling, and a passion for turning raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.
- Design and develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and interactive visualizations based on business requirements.
- Build efficient data models using Power BI, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance optimization.
- Integrate data from various sources such as SQL Server, Azure, Excel, and other third-party applications into Power BI for comprehensive analysis.
- Use Power Query to clean, transform, and load data from multiple sources into Power BI for reporting and analysis.
- Develop complex DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) queries for advanced calculations and aggregations in Power BI reports.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and data analysts to understand reporting requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for speed, usability, and performance to handle large datasets efficiently.
- Provide training and support to business users to ensure they can effectively use and interpret Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security in Power BI solutions, following best practices for data governance.
- Identify and resolve data issues and report discrepancies to ensure accuracy and reliability of insights.
- Maintain documentation of data sources, Power BI reports, dashboards, and technical processes for future reference and user support.
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar business intelligence or data visualization role
- Strong proficiency in Power BI (including Power Query, Power Pivot, and DAX).
- Experience in data modeling and creating optimized data structures for reporting.
- Familiarity with SQL and other data query languages to pull data from relational and non-relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI Service, including report sharing, collaboration, and managing workspaces.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and integrating data from multiple sources (e.g., SQL Server, Excel, flat files, APIs).
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and deliver actionable insights to business stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and understandable way.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
