IT Professional with in-depth knowledge of digital infrastructure/computer systems. Should have a strong technical background and experience in creating and implementing policies and systems related to digital transformation that will meet the company s short-term and long-term objectives
Selected candidate will manage and oversee a small team that will manage the companys IT digital infrastructure and oversee implementation of new digital initiatives
Selected candidate s growth path would be to eventually grow into the CIO (Chief Information Officer) of the company and lead the technology strategy of the organization
Responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all technology infrastructure and digital transformation functions at Regional/Area HO and integration with branch locations and Company HO
Steer rollout of projects with the accountability of defining scope, setting timelines, analyzing requirements, prioritizing tasks, identifying dependencies, evaluating risks, UAT and issues as per pre-set budgets and timelines
Devising and establishing policies and systems for the company s IT systems and digital infrastructure to support the implementation and transformation of organization s IT strategy and data analytics initiatives
Analysing business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs and liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure that specific information or system requirements are identified and implemented appropriately
Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts, playing the role of a SPOC for all external IT/Systems vendors
Assess risk and impact on the existing system that may arise due to any requirement or functional change
Co-ordinate with various Auditors during the audits conducted
Keep track of regulatory requirements from a technology perspective (especially for NBFCs) and lead the enterprise related regulatory function
High level of awareness on the developments in the technology space and be up to date with any changes in the BFSI segment with a keen eye for innovation, thereby pioneering new products, services and trends relevant to the business Candidate Preferred Background:
Experienced Tech Professional (8-12 years) having worked in a Retail focused NBFC / Fintech company on the technology side
Open to consider candidates with experience at a Start-up (either having run their own Start-up or with considerable experience at a Start-up managing the tech function)
Hands-on and competent with technology implementation in products related to NBFC Industry (should have functional knowledge of BFSI Sector)
Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of online technology systems (Loan management system suite) and their specifications
Knowledge of system analysis, testing, and launch of applications, project management skills to coordinate with various external agencies for the implementation of projects and activities
Excellent organizational and leadership skills and outstanding communication abilities (fluency in written and spoken English is a must)
Knowledge of these would be preferred in the ideal candidate: CRM / LOS LMS / ERP/ HRMS / Data warehousing / Analytics
Basic understanding of NBFC lending business
