Job Description
- Position : Node.js Engineer Location : Bangalore / Mumbai- India (HYBRID) Experience : 7 + Project Contract : 12 months (Extends) Mandate Skills : Node JS, Java Script , PostgreSQL Please Find Below The JD Proficiency in Node.js and related frameworks. Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana and Tempo. Familiarity with Prometheus for metric scraping. Knowledge of Docker and PM2 for deployment and process management. Experience with PostgreSQL. Familiarity with Azure cloud services. Base understanding of Kafka, Redis, Good to have Minio and Verdaccio. Familiarity with Linux commands and system management. Objectives Of This Role Work on building the back-end applications that power web and mobile applications. Developing and implementing complex Node.js applications to the cloud infrastructure. Designing and maintaining scalable and efficient APIs and integrating third-party APIs into Node.js applications. Additional Skill Strong problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. Demonstrable experience in web application development with expertise in Node.js. Proficiency with front-end technologies like CSS, HTML and JavaScript. Knowledge of database technologies and agile development methodologies. Experience working with databases, such as MySQL or MongoDB. Familiarity with web development frameworks, such as Express.js. Understanding of microservices architecture and DevOps principles. Excellent problem-solving and management skills. Preferred Skills And Qualifications Relevant certification for Node.js from a recognised organisation. Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure, such as AWS or Azure. Familiarity with front-end development frameworks, such as React.js or AngularJS. Working knowledge of test-driven development (TDD). The roles and responsibilities of Node.js developers include designing and developing high-performing applications with the help of the Node.js runtime environment. They create fast, robust, scalable, high-performance web applications using different frameworks in Java. They design and implement server-side applications in Javascript or its variants and ensure the application is performant and scalable. They often collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless code integration per the client's requirements. These professionals typically work on building the back-end applications used to power web and mobile applications. They also design and implement APIs, integrate them with third-party services and write maintainable code for various applications. In addition to having a solid understanding of Node.js and JavaScript, a Node.js developer should also have experience working with databases (MySQL) and be familiar with web development frameworks (Express.js).
