- Job Description: Tamil-Speaking Servers (Male & Female) Location: Tandoori Tamashaa, Ilara Hotels & Spa Department: Food & Beverage (Fine Dining Restaurant) Reports To: Tamil Captain/Manager Role Summary The English & Tamil-speaking Servers will be the face of Tandoori Tamashaa, ensuring a warm welcome for guests and delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidates are fluent in Tamil as well as basic english, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for hospitality. Key Responsibilities (Hostess) Greet and welcome guests warmly in Tamil and English. Manage guest reservations and seating arrangements. Communicate menu highlights and restaurant specialties effectively. Ensure a positive and memorable guest experience from arrival to departure. Key Responsibilities (Stewards) Serve food and beverages to guests in an elegant and efficient manner. Assist in explaining menu items and making recommendations. Coordinate with the kitchen and bar for accurate order delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas. Qualifications & Skills Fluent in Tamil and English (additional languages are a plus). 1+ year of experience in a restaurant or hotel service role (preferred). Polished appearance and excellent interpersonal skills. Knowledge of fine dining service standards is an advantage. Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn. Working Conditions Shift-based work, including weekends and holidays. Physically demanding role, involving standing for extended periods.
