Greetings !

 

We are in search of Design & Engineering professional for the EPC division undertaking Turnkey Power Transmission & Distribution Projects :

Position : Manager Design & Engineering .

 

Purpose :

Error free and timely submission of Electrical Design and Engineering.

 

Location : Mumbai

 

Requirements :

Engineer - BE, B.Tech (Electrical) / M. Tech (Electrical)

Electrical Design Engineering Experience with EPC organization catering up to 400kV/ 765kV AIS & GIS Substation. Exposure on Transmission Line Projects will be an added advantage.

Exposure to Auto Cad and other design software, IS and other related Codes, Ms office

 

Key Deliverable :

Communicate timelines for design and drawings submission of draftsman/consultants.

Basic and detail engineering involving preparation of SLD, Electrical Equipment layout, cable layouts, Earthing layout, lighting layouts, etc.

Coordinate with Electrical consultant for drawing submission and Communicate customer approval to the Electrical consultants.

Prepare detailed Engineering plans and schedules for each Tenders/LOI

Study the technical part of Tender Document and understand the technical specifications/customer requirements.

Perform basic Engineering during pre tender stage.

Detailed engineering after award of contract.

Study drawings of suppliers of new item or technology/attend supplier meetings/presentations.

Assist procurement team in selection of suppliers wherever help is sought.

Monitor the progress of basic/detailed design activities outsourced and ensure timely completion of activities.

Review preparation of pre-engineering estimates at the time of tendering (Rough Cut BOQ)

Submit Design & Drawings to Head Design & Engineering. And coordinate for his approval.

Monitor SLAs for consultants/Design & Engineering.

Engineers to ensure compliance in terms of quality, quantity and timelines.

Update knowledge of checking of drawing, modeling and application of software like AUTOCAD/MICRO STATION, ETAP, EDSA, etc
