Our content includes interviews, historical deep dives, cultural explorations, and narratives about the citys people, places, and events. We are passionate about creating authentic, engaging content that connects with a wide audience, blending tradition with modern storytelling techniques. Our Sister Channels The Kanpur Stories and The Banaras Stories are working successfully on the same model. Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and charismatic Video Host Intern to join our team. As the face of The Lucknow Stories, you will be responsible for hosting our video segments, interviewing guests, and bringing the citys stories to life in front of the camera. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in media, journalism, or storytelling to gain hands-on experience and build a portfolio in video hosting. Key Responsibilities: Host on-camera segments for various storytelling videos, including interviews, features on historical landmarks, cultural pieces, and more. Engage with guests during interviews, ensuring a lively and interactive experience. Present scripted and non-scripted content in a compelling, natural, and engaging manner. Collaborate with the production team to brainstorm and pitch new ideas for video content. Research and prepare for each segment, ensuring familiarity with the subject matter or guests. Assist in promoting videos on social media, interacting with followers, and engaging in community outreach. Work closely with the creative and production team to ensure content aligns with the channels tone and vision. Qualifications: Passion for storytelling, media, or journalism with an interest in Lucknows culture, history, and community. Strong on-camera presence and the ability to engage and connect with an audience. Excellent verbal communication skills and comfort in hosting both scripted and unscripted content. Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to work collaboratively with a creative team and follow direction.
