Android Developer @ Xyliv Technologies

Job Description

  This is a full-time, 100% Work From Office (WFO) opportunity for an Android Developer with 5+ years of professional experience. The ideal candidate should be an immediate joiner (0-15 days notice period).

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new feature development.

Integrate with APIs and backend services.

Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.

Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.

Evaluate and implement new technologies.



Mandatory Skills:

Testing (Implied as a crucial aspect of development)

Java

Kotlin

Android SDK

MVP (Model-View-Presenter architecture)

Additional Desired Skills:

Experience with MVVM or Clean Architecture.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations.

Solid experience with Git, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong understanding of mobile app UI/UX design principles.

Experience with Room, Retrofit, Coroutines, and Firebase.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (B.E./B.Tech., B.Sc. (Computer Science), B.C.A.).

Key Hiring Criteria:

5+ years of Android app development experience.

Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.

In-depth knowledge of Android SDK and architecture components.

Experience with MVP (and ideally MVVM or Clean Architecture).

Immediate joiner (0-15 days notice period).

Willingness to work 100% from the office.
