Name of Posts Junior Research Fellow Number of posts 01 (one) Name of the Research Project Electrostatic Deposition and Functionalization of Multiwalled Carbon Nanotubes (MWCNTs) for Sensitive & Selective Detection of Coal Mine Methane (CMM) Name of sponsoring agency Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Limited (CMPDI), Ministry of Coal, Government of India, New Delhi Duration of the position 02 years Fellowship / Monthly compensation 31,000/- per month + 16 % HRA Essential qualifications and experience M.Sc. (Physics/ Chemistry/ Nanotechnology/ Material Science)/ M.Tech. (Nanotechnology/ Material Science) with minimum 60% (or equivalent CGPA) from a recognized University. Candidate should be NET / GATE qualified. Candidates with expertise in the synthesis of nanomaterials and their composites for gas sensing applications, characterization of nanoparticles and their composites will be preferred. *The candidates having 1-2 years of research experience in industry or research laboratory is preferred. Age As per norms General Conditions Appointment of the applicant will be governed by the terms and conditions of the funding agency particularly applicable to the said project.
