Company Description 280 Carbon focuses on valorizing CO through ethylene-based products to incentivize carbon capture in the CCUS ecosystem. The company aims to utilize, store, and monetize CO by using a modular CO electrolyzer coupled with carbon capture to produce ethylene using green energy. Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Polymer and Materials Chemist at 280 Carbon which can turn into a full time opportunity in the future. The role involves conducting research and development, utilizing analytical skills and development of unique ideas and concepts to push our technology further. Using your knowledge, we would like you to break down concepts, problems and solutions and explain to to us using very fundamental reasoning. We want to know that you can dig into the most basic principles that govern these reactions and how we can play around with them from this point of view. If selected, you will be allotted an assignment before the interview and you will need to be presented to us.
