Job Description
Our growing company is searching for experienced candidates for the position of engineering lab technician. Responsibilities for engineering lab technician
Requires ability to work well within a small core team environment to continuously improve testing throughput and schedules to meet customer needs
May provide technical direction and training to other technologists and hourly employees to include task or project lead
Requires the ability to interface with multi-disciplines and colleagues across the plant, including those within
Set up and operate Hydraulic Fatigue equipment, dynamometers, and bench tests for driveling components and assemblies
Work with requesting engineers and test engineers to insure correct fixture, set-up, operation, and acquisition of data for test requests
Assemble and disassemble axles and driveshafts
Record and collect test data from pre and post component/assembly inspection
Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment as necessary
Visually inspect parts to standards, repair units and products that fail to meet requirements
As necessary, resolve mechanical or hydraulic problems encountered during assembly
