Job Description

Job Title: Application Database Developer Location: Chennai / Bangalore / Trichy Experience: 7+ Years Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Application Database Developer with a strong focus on data optimization and query efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in MySQL or MSSQL and have experience in application development, database schema design, and query optimization. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: - Application Development: Involved in the full life cycle of application development, including designing, coding, and testing new database applications. - Schema and Table Creation: Design and create multiple schemas and tables as per the application needs. - Query Optimization: Identify and optimize slow-performing queries to enhance application performance. - Data Modeling: Design logical and physical models to improve data architecture and system performance. - Table Relations: Establish and manage relationships between tables to ensure data integrity and optimized access patterns. - Database Administration (20%): Perform essential DBA tasks, including backups, performance tuning, and data management, which will comprise about 20% of the role. Required Skills: - 7+ years of experience in database application development and optimization. - Proficient in MySQL or MSSQL. - Strong knowledge of query optimization and relational database design. - Experience in creating and managing database schemas and relationships. - Understanding of data modeling and data architecture best practices. - Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is a plus. - Experience in optimizing and troubleshooting complex queries. Nice to Have: - Experience with other cloud platforms or big data technologies. - Familiarity with DBA tasks such as performance tuning and backups.,
