Job Description

Overview The Mainframe MQ Admin plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining the Mainframe MQ environment to ensure seamless communication and data transfer within the organization. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity and reliability of the Mainframe MQ infrastructure, thus enabling smooth and efficient data processing. Key responsibilities Configure, install, and maintain Mainframe MQ software and related tools Monitor Mainframe MQ environment for performance and stability Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve Mainframe MQ issues Implement and maintain Mainframe MQ security measures and protocols Perform Mainframe MQ backups and recovery procedures Develop and maintain Mainframe MQ documentation and standard operating procedures Participate in Mainframe MQ capacity planning and performance tuning Provide Mainframe MQ support, including on-call duties Collaborate with vendors to resolve Mainframe MQ-related issues Lead Mainframe MQ-related projects and initiatives Conduct Mainframe MQ training and knowledge sharing sessions Stay updated with the latest Mainframe MQ technologies and best practices Automate Mainframe MQ administrative tasks to improve efficiency Adhere to Mainframe MQ governance and compliance standards Proactively identify and address Mainframe MQ environment improvement opportunities Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Professional certification in Mainframe MQ administration is a plus Proven experience in Mainframe MQ administration and support Strong knowledge of Mainframe MQ architecture, components, and protocols Proficiency in Mainframe MQ installation, configuration, and troubleshooting Experience in Mainframe MQ performance tuning and optimization Familiarity with Mainframe MQ security and compliance standards Excellent understanding of Mainframe MQ backup and recovery procedures Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively Solid problem-solving and analytical skills Experience in Mainframe MQ automation tools and scripting languages Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment In-depth knowledge of Mainframe MQ monitoring and alerting tools Strong commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement Experience in leading Mainframe MQ-related projects and initiatives Skills: mainframe,troubleshooting,administrative,
