Job Description
We are looking for a Test Lead with strong experience in automation testing, API testing, and CI/CD integration to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead a team of QA engineers in ensuring the highest standards of software quality across web, mobile, and cloud-based applications. You will be responsible for the development and execution of test strategies, automation frameworks, and leading quality initiatives within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the QA team in executing end-to-end testing activities, including manual and automation testing.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Python, and other relevant tools.
- Design, implement, and execute API testing strategies using tools like Postman, RestAssured, and Swagger.
- Integrate automation testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Maven.
- Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to ensure quality standards and timelines are met.
- Identify, log, and track defects using Jira, TestRail, or other defect management tools.
- Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter and Grafana.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, conducting code reviews and ensuring best practices.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups as part of the Agile process.
- Continuously improve the automation process to enhance test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with at least 3+ years in a Test Lead or similar leadership role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, API testing (Postman, RestAssured, Swagger).
- Proficiency in Python, Java, and Core Java for test automation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Maven, and Docker.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) for testing and automation.
- JIRA, TestRail, Jenkins, Git, Maven, Postman, JMeter, Grafana are essential tools/technologies.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management, mentoring, and performance management.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
