Technical Support Engineer :: Broctagon @ Broctagon IT

Key responsibility areas:

• Respond to customer requests via on-line communication tools and e-mail in a timely and accurate manner
• Responding to application alerts based on monitoring tools as first responder
• Review/assess technical situations and establish case priority/severity in accordance with service level
• agreement
• Handle Level 1 Escalations and adhere to escalation matrix
• Provide technical support on software products and related systems
• Offer appropriate alternative solutions
• Perform weekly and monthly issues analysis and reporting.

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Willing to learn new skills and take on responsibilities
• Has a positive outlook and willing to work through tough times
• Familiarity with SQL relational database management systems and SQL scripting
• Willingness to work in flexible shifts (including weekends), supporting a 24x7 operation globally
• Ability to deliver superior customer service
• Excellent oral/written communication skills
• Appropriate technical qualification at graduate level with at least 1 year work
• experience (those without Technical qualification should have at least 2 years related work experience)
• Understanding of operating systems, networking technologies/protocols, and software applications.
