We are seeking an experienced Java Architect with a strong technical background and leadership capabilities to drive architectural design, performance optimization, and modernization of large-scale web applications. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in Java-based technologies, web frameworks, cloud deployment, and DevOps practices.
Skill / Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java-based enterprise applications.
- Strong proficiency in Java (JDK8), Struts (1.1 to 2), Spring Framework, Hibernate, and Oracle Database.
- Solid understanding of software architecture principles and design best practices.
- Proven experience in upgrading legacy systems and optimizing performance.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD tools for DevOps.
- Familiarity with security implementations using Servlet Filters and custom plugin development in Struts.
- Experience with SONARQube, code quality analysis, and resolving vulnerabilities.
- Effective communication and leadership skills to guide development teams and manage stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead architecture design and development for enterprise-level Java applications.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using Java (JDK8), Struts (1.1 to 2), Spring, Hibernate, and Oracle DB.
- Oversee large-scale web application upgrades and execute performance tuning to ensure optimal system behavior.
- Apply industry-standard architectural and design patterns to ensure robust and maintainable software solutions.
- Guide teams on DevOps practices and cloud deployments to improve delivery efficiency and system scalability.
- Provide expertise in Servlet Filters for security, Struts Plugin Development, and Tiles/JSP Custom Tag creation.
- Utilize JIRA for project and task tracking, and ensure alignment with Agile delivery methods.
- Interpret and act on SONAR dashboard reports for code quality and technical debt reduction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
