Data Engineer @ Insight Global

Job Description

Were looking for 2 skilled Data Engineers to join PepsiCo on a 6-12 month remote contract, working until 8pm/9pm IST. This role is all about performance and cost optimization in Azure Data Factory (ADF), requiring someone solutions-minded to enhance application value and design. Interviews are one-and-done video sessions, scheduled from Tuesday to Thursday, 1pm-6pm IST, with flexibility for weekend interviews!

Must-Have Skills:

• 5-8 years of Data Engineering experience.
• Expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks.
• Strong focus on cost optimization in ADF with real use cases and metrics.
• Ability to re-design applications and fine-tune code for optimal performance.
• A solutions-driven mindset to gather requirements and achieve the most effective designs.

Plus:

• Experience with Synapse.
• Collaboration with the business to understand application requirements.

Role Overview:
These engineers will tackle urgent delivery timelines, optimize performance, and act as gatekeepers for application changes. Be prepared to share specific metrics from real use cases during interviews, showcasing your expertise in ADF cost optimization.
