We have an Urgent Requirement for the Position of SAP Basis Consultant with SAP Security at Hyderabad Location.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Responsible for end to end SAP landscape management, Monitoring & administration.
- Responsible for SAP R/3 , BI and EP servers administration and maintenance.
- Data center Hard ware management, Hardware Virtualization administration and monitoring, SAP application administration, Data Base administration and M Management, Operating System administration and management.
- User administration, User management and roles management.
- CTS/STMS administration and management.
- Client management activities (Client Administration, Client Copy, Client Export, Remote Client Copy, Client Deletion)
- System updates using OSS notes, support packs, patch management and kernel upgrade.
- Proactive monitoring, trouble shooting and tuning of the SAP systems.
- Database utilities management and administration like SAPDBA, BR* Tools,
- BRSPACE and Import/Export.
- Setup CCMS to Logon load balancing, Operation modes, Instances Profiles and background processing.
- Monitoring of SAP R/3 start up problems using trace files and system logs. Performance Monitoring, System monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Database monitoring, Back up management and Data base performance management.
- Installation of SAPGUI on client PCs , Configuring client PCs and printers for SAP.
- Troubleshooting SAP Spool Administration, Printer Management and system related user problem.
- Documentation of critical system operation procedures and solutions for issues .
- Administration of Solution manager.
- Analysis and Implementation of early watch recommendations.
- Review and manage Basis related incidents, escalating where appropriate to associate like SAP , IBM and SAP AMS support partner .
- SAP BI administration and creating RFC connections between SAP R/3 and BI systems
- Backup/Restore oracle database and oracle Archive logs using SAPDBA and schedule backups
- CCMS monitoring, short dumps, system logs, DB alerts, SQL traces, lock entries and oracle sessions
- Scheduling and monitoring background jobs.
- Performance tuning for the production and development server.
- Performed homogeneous system copy from production to quality server using R3copy procedure.
- Documentation of all SAP activities like data base growth, downtimes, day to day activities.
- Coordinating with hardware (IBM), Software (SAP) and OS vendor / associate.
Required Experience :2-5 years
