As a Pharmacist a Narayana Health, you will be responsible for dispensing prescriptions, providing medication counseling, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to the efficient functioning of the pharmacy. Key Responsibilities:
- Medication Dispensing: Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients based on valid prescriptions, ensuring the correct dosage, form, and instructions.
- Patient Counseling: Provide patients with clear and accurate information regarding their medications, including dosage instructions, potential side effects, interactions, and storage.
- Medication Therapy Management: Review patient medication regimens to ensure therapeutic efficacy, safety, and compliance; identify potential drug interactions or contraindications.
- Pharmacy Operations: Maintain an organized and efficient workflow, ensuring the timely filling of prescriptions, proper inventory management, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all applicable pharmaceutical laws and regulations, including those governing controlled substances, pharmacy practices, and patient confidentiality.
- Inventory Management: Oversee medication stock, monitor expiration dates, and place orders to maintain adequate stock levels, while preventing shortages or overstocking.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and other pharmacists, to ensure seamless patient care and optimal health outcomes.
