Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Application Development:
Develop and maintain scalable applications using Node.js, Python, or similar
technologies.
Write optimized BigQuery SQL scripts for data processing and analysis.
2. CI/CD Deployment:
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines, preferably using CircleCI or similar tools.
3. Cloud Platforms:
Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure) to
build and deploy solutions.
4. Test-Driven Development (TDD):
Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
5. Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with team members to identify requirements, design systems, and
deliver solutions.
6. Problem-Solving:
Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring seamless
integration with existing systems.
7. Continuous Improvement:
Learn and adopt best practices, and contribute to the teams growth by staying
updated on emerging technologies.
Primary Skills
- Node.js and JavaScript development.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
- Experience in BigQuery SQL scripting or equivalent SQL platforms.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like CircleCI.
- Strong understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles.
- Basic experience with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).
Good to Have Skills
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services like Pub/Sub,
BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Kubernetes etc.
- Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture and messaging systems.
- Understanding of Evolutionary Architecture principles and practices.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of development experience with Node.js, Python, or similar
programming languages.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in object-oriented programming and a solid
understanding of design patterns.
- Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS and GCP platforms;
- Database Proficiency: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Coding Standards: Ability to write clean, well-structured, high-quality code.
- Teamwork: Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Initiative: Proactive, responsible, and able to effectively identify, communicate, and
resolve issues and risks.
- Growth Mindset: Willingness to continuously improve your skills and lead team growth,
including learning new technologies related to frontend development and data to
enhance backend capabilities.
