- Experience working with or in agile teams with good understanding of agile practices.
- Experience working with agile teams delivering technical solutions.
- You possess excellent communication and people -interaction skills and can rapidly build trust
and positively influence others at all levels of the organization.
- You demonstrate a continuous improvement approach.
- You are a proven change agent capable of coaching agile practices to teams and individuals
from across different functions, experiences, and geographies as they work through new and
unfamiliar situations.
- Managing and prioritizing the product backlog.
- You are intellectually curious and passionate about learning new skills, and model a culture of
continuous learning, mentoring, and coaching. (People, Process, Technology)
- Work effectively in the face of ambiguity, shifting priorities, quick pivot, and rapid change.
- Provide all needed support to the Scrum Team using a servant leadership style (by using
persuasion rather than authority) and leading by example.
- Have ability to identify problems, impediments, dependencies, and other team dysfunctions.
Should be able to facilitate quick resolution to keep teams highly motivated and productive.
- Resolve conflict through arbitration, negotiation, reasoned discussion, or escalation.
- Foster Team collaboration and help in resolving conflict.
- Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame,
retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
Desirable
- Minimum 7-9 years in software industry having basic knowledge of Scrum or having a passion to
pursue Scrum Master role.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent desired.
- Knowledge of other agile approaches, like: Kanban, XP, etc.
- Have worked in any one of the Agile Life Cycle Management Tools like TFS, Rally, Jira,
VersionOne, etc. to support the agile development activities.
