Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior UI Developer with strong experience in modern web application development to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of front-end technologies, strong expertise in React.js with Redux, and the ability to lead and mentor junior developers. You will play a key role in building responsive, scalable, and robust web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead front-end/UI development efforts on web applications.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to UI best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate UI with backend services.
- Develop scalable, reusable components and front-end libraries using React.js.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and provide feedback to designers.
- Maintain and enhance existing JavaScript/TypeScript codebases.
- Build responsive designs compatible across various browsers and devices.
- Debug and resolve cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Implement web services integrations using REST and/or SOAP (JSON/XML).
- Quickly learn and adapt to new tools, frameworks, and technologies.
- Contribute to UI architecture and participate in code reviews.
Must-Have Skills
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in web application development.
- Expertise in React.js with Redux.
- Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+) and DOM manipulation.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, XML, JSON, DHTML, SASS.
- Experience developing responsive, cross-browser web applications.
- Familiar with browser debugging tools (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, IE).
- Strong understanding of RESTful/SOAP APIs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with other UI frameworks (e.g., Angular, Vue).
- Familiarity with front-end build tools (Webpack, Grunt).
- Experience with SASS/SCSS, and CSS architecture best practices.
- Knowledge of ARIA/accessibility standards (ADA).
- Exposure to JSP/XHTML.
- Understanding of security standards (e.g., OWASP).
