Cloud Solution Architect role aligns more with an Infrastructure Architect specializing in Azure, so we can look for Architecture experience around 3-5 years rel into infrastructure side.
Cloud Platform Engineer - 3-5 Years
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in managing and supporting cloud environments, preferably with
Microsoft Azure.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on Cloud Platform Managed Services.
- Experience in working in an environment to manage cloud platform operations at scale aligned with SLAs.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure components such as virtual machines, networking, storage, and databases.
- Proficiency with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform).
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and concepts.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices.
- Good verbal and written communication skills for effective engagement with technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills to address technical challenges and develop solutions
Cloud Solution Architect - 10 + yrs
Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification - mandatory.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert) - highly desirable.
- ITIL Foundation and FinOps Certified Practitioner certifications - highly desirable.
2. Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience 9-15 Years(10+ years) in managing and supporting enterprise-level cloud environments
across multiple platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on Cloud Platform Managed Services.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering cloud strategy, architecture, and implementation
projects.
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure components, including networking, storage, compute, security, and
databases.
- Expertise in cloud automation, orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code concepts and tools(Terraform, Poweshell.
- Strong understanding of ITIL framework and best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and team-building abilities.
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage technical teams while driving high performance and collaboration.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Good verbal and written communication skills for effective engagement with technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills to address technical challenges and develop solutions
Cloud Platform Lead - 9+yrs
Skills & Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud platform engineering
- Experience working for Azure Expert MSPs (e.g. Accenture, Avanade, Rackspace, NTT, Wipro, HCL, TCS, etc.)
with a track record of building automation and cloud platform solutions for managing end-to-end lifecycle
management of cloud resources
- Proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Strong expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation tools.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication, facilitation and influencing skills - ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
- Strong analytical/troubleshooting skills
- Experience on transformation projects and successful transitions to implementation support teams.
