- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code in C# following best practices and coding standards.
- Develop and maintain robust and scalable backend services and APIs.
- Work extensively with Entity Framework Core or other ORM frameworks to interact with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Implement and manage authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and other developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering their technical growth.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the .NET ecosystem and web development.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge base.
- Participate in architectural discussions and provide technical leadership.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and deployment strategies is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, NUnit) and writing unit, integration, and potentially end-to-end tests.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack or primarily backend development with a strong focus on the .NET ecosystem.
- Deep understanding and proven experience with ASP.NET Core framework.
- Strong proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming principles.
- Extensive experience working with Entity Framework Core or other ORM frameworks.
- Solid understanding of relational database design and querying (SQL).
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization patterns (e.g., OAuth 2.0, JWT).
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior developers.
