Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins, optimizing site performance, and implementing responsive design. This role requires a deep understanding of the WordPress ecosystem and the ability to manage end-to-end website development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
Convert Figma/PSD designs into fully functional WordPress websites.
Optimize website performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
Implement SEO best practices in code and structure.
Integrate third-party APIs and tools.
Manage website migrations, backups, and maintenance routines.
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress sites.
Stay current on emerging technologies and WordPress best practices
.
Requirements:
5+ years of professional WordPress development experience.
Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Deep understanding of the WordPress core, REST API, and WP CLI.
Experience with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery) and ACF.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and development workflows.
Knowledge of hosting environments and DNS configurations.
Experience with WooCommerce, multisite setups, and multilingual plugins is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with headless WordPress or JAMstack architecture.
Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js.
Contribution to WordPress.org (themes/plugins/core) is a plus.
Understanding of accessibility and web performance metrics.
