Job Description
Responsible for design, development, modification, debug and/or maintenance of software systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Software Development Maintenance:
Design, develop, modify, debug, and maintain software code according to functional, non-functional, and technical design specifications. - Adherence to Standards:
Follow Amdocs software engineering standards, applicable software development methodologies, and release processes to ensure code is maintainable, scalable, and supportable. - Issue Investigation Resolution:
Investigate issues by reviewing and debugging code, providing fixes and workarounds, and ensuring changes are operable to maintain existing software solutions. - Collaboration Peer Reviews:
Work within a team environment, collaborating with peers and cross-functional teams. Actively participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and suggest improvements. - Technical Accountability Support:
Assume technical accountability for your work products within an application and provide technical support during the solution design for new requirements. - Innovation Continuous Improvement:
Actively seek innovation and opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency in all assigned tasks.
All you need is...
Bachelors degree in Science/IT/Computer Science or equivalent
Professional Relevant Experience
- 3+ years on Tandem technologies like COBOL, Netbatch, Pathway, ENFORM, SCOBOL, TACL, TAL, SQL, FUP
Good to have - Java, C
Maintenance, Support Development in Tandem Application
Shift Working (1-10 or 3-12, but flexibility as per business need)
Provide production support (resolve job abends) for customer applications for any issue
