Job description:
We are seeking a talented ServiceNow ITSM Integration Developer to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems. This role requires a strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, ServiceNow platform capabilities, and experience working with REST, SOAP, and other integration technologies.
As a key member of the IT development team, you will collaborate closely with business analysts, system administrators, and other developers to ensure seamless integration and automation of ITSM processes. You will play a critical role in enhancing the ServiceNow environment to meet the organization's growing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integration Development: Design, develop, and implement integrations between ServiceNow ITSM and external systems (e.g., Active Directory, monitoring tools, third-party applications).
- ServiceNow Configuration: Configure and customize ServiceNow modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, etc.) according to the business requirements.
- API Management: Work with REST/SOAP APIs for ServiceNow integration with external systems, including authentication, data mapping, and error handling.
- Scripting & Automation: Develop Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, and workflows to automate and streamline processes across systems.
- Data Migration & Transformation: Handle data transformation and migration between systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide ongoing support for integrations, including issue resolution, performance optimization, and monitoring integration health.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for integration processes, designs, and workflows.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders and other technical teams (e.g., DevOps, Infrastructure) to align integration solutions with overall IT strategy.
- Security Compliance: Ensure integration solutions meet organizational security standards and comply with data privacy policies.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in ServiceNow ITSM development and integration, including hands-on experience with ITSM modules.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong proficiency in ServiceNow platform (ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, Service Catalog, etc.)
- Proficiency with REST/SOAP web services and integration protocols.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript, XML, and JSON.
- Experience with ServiceNow MID Server, IntegrationHub, and ServiceNow Orchestration is a plus.
- ITSM Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request) and how they are implemented in ServiceNow.
- Database Knowledge: Familiarity with relational databases and SQL for querying and data manipulation.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities for diagnosing and resolving integration issues.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or ITIL certifications are highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and integrating with ServiceNow.
- Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems like Git or GitHub.
- DevOps Tools: Exposure to DevOps tools and automation platforms (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible) is a plus.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
