Job Description
Job Title: Procurement Analyst Assistant/Deputy Manager
Role/Responsibility:
- Convert a business requirement into an analytical problem statement and develop comprehensive analytical solutions using statistical procedures, and/or domain knowledge depending on the requirements of the project.
- Design, develop, and implement analytical techniques on large, complex, structured and unstructured data sets (including big data) to derive meaningful insights and help make better decisions.
- Build independent cost models and assist stakeholders in setting up cost targets.
- Conduct impact analysis through data research, trend analysis, tracking key matrices, and coordinating with stakeholders to quantify the changes.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor in Engineering OR Master in Statistics/Economics/Any Quantitative-heavy domain from a Tier-1 institute.
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in a business analytics-driven space.
Essential Skills Required:
- Superior problem-solving and proven working experience as a data analyst.
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
- Knowledge of statistics including but not limited to distributions, linear, non-linear, logistic models and clustering, and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets.
- Ability to conceptualize & create dashboards and reports for senior stakeholders, including MBE (Management by Exception) representations.
- Outstanding hands-on experience on Advanced Excel is mandatory.
- Fluency in other MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Access, etc.).
- Knowledge of statistical tools like SAS, MATLAB, R is desired.
