Job Description

• As a Junior Engineer in the Tool Room department, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, maintenance, and repair of various tools and equipment used in manufacturing processes
• You will work closely with senior engineers and technicians to support the production needs of the organization

Responsibilities:

• Tool Design: Assist in designing new tools or modifying existing ones to improve production efficiency and quality
• This includes creating detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation
• Tool Development: Collaborate with the team to develop new tools and fixtures for production processes
• This may involve conducting research, prototyping, and testing to ensure optimal performance
• Tool Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment to ensure their proper functioning
• This includes troubleshooting issues, replacing parts, and conducting preventive maintenance activities
• Tool Calibration: Assist in calibrating and setting up tools and equipment according to established specifications
• This involves using precision instruments and following calibration procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in tool design, manufacturing, and maintenance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement these improvements and optimize tool performance
