Job Description:
We are looking for a seasoned Hardware Engineer with extensive experience in Electronic Devices and Circuits (EDC), PCB-level debugging, and system-level signal processing. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical capabilities, lab expertise, and deep knowledge of component-level hardware diagnostics, especially in mobile SoC environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work hands-on with Electronic Devices and Circuits (EDC) hardware with in-depth component-level understanding.
- Operate effectively in an electronics laboratory, using standard lab equipment and maintaining lab discipline.
- Handle analog, digital, and mixed-signal processing at the board level.
- Replicate binary data/waveforms at low signal levels by integrating digital signals into analog circuitry.
- Perform PCB-level hardware tuning, including:
- RLC impedance matching
- PLL tuning
- Trans-impedance amplification
- Use of active probes
- Troubleshoot signal detection paths, on-board amplifiers, and peripheral interconnects on PCBs.
- Understand and manage power electronics circuits, including current sensing and processing circuitry.
- Conduct component-level debugging on mobile motherboards, especially for SoC and LPDRAM supply voltages.
- Possess basic knowledge of Android devices and experience with build flashing.
- Interpret workload/use case behavior in relation to overall system performance.
