Job description:

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow HRSD Developer to join Clients HR Technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) module. This role requires in-depth knowledge of HR workflows, ServiceNow platform capabilities, and custom development in ServiceNow. The developer will work closely with HR business stakeholders, HR system administrators, and IT teams to deliver integrated, user-friendly, and scalable solutions to improve HR service delivery.

As a ServiceNow HRSD Developer, you will be responsible for enhancing the ServiceNow HRSD platform, working on automation of HR processes, and integrating HR systems with ServiceNow to improve overall HR service delivery and employee experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • ServiceNow HRSD Development: Design, develop, and implement solutions within the ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) module, including Case Management, Employee Service Center (ESC), Knowledge Management, HR Service Catalog, and Document Management.
  • Customization & Configuration: Customize HRSD functionality to meet the business requirements, including developing custom workflows, business rules, UI actions, and Script Includes.
  • Integration with External Systems: Integrate ServiceNow HRSD with third-party HR systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, PeopleSoft) and other enterprise tools, using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Servers.
  • Automation of HR Processes: Work with HR teams to identify opportunities for process automation within ServiceNow, helping to streamline HR workflows such as onboarding, offboarding, case management, and other HR services.
  • UI/UX Enhancements: Enhance the user experience for HR personnel and employees by improving the look and feel of the Employee Service Center, HR Service Catalog, and other HRSD interfaces.
  • Testing & Troubleshooting: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting of issues to ensure the solutions meet the functional requirements and are bug-free.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor the performance of HRSD applications and optimize as needed to ensure efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  • Documentation: Prepare technical documentation for custom development and configuration, including system architecture, integration points, and workflow processes.
  • Collaboration & Training: Work closely with HR stakeholders to understand requirements, provide guidance on ServiceNow capabilities, and assist in training HR users on new features and functionalities.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, with a focus on HRSD or HR-related applications in ServiceNow.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow HRSD (Case Management, Employee Service Center, HR Service Catalog, etc.)
    • Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
    • Proficient in ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, Business Rules, UI Actions, Script Includes, Notifications, and Data Transformation.
    • Strong knowledge of integration methods (REST, SOAP, Web Services) and experience with IntegrationHub and MID Servers.
  • HRSD Processes: Understanding of core HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, case management, and employee service delivery.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • UI/UX Design: Experience with ServiceNow Employee Service Center (ESC) and improving user interfaces.
  • Security & Compliance: Knowledge of security best practices and data privacy regulations related to HR and employee data.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical HR stakeholders.
  • Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), ServiceNow HRSD Implementation Specialist, or ITIL certification is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with HRIS systems: Familiarity with HR systems like Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, or other HR solutions.
  • Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Cloud Platform Exposure: Exposure to cloud technologies and integrations (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, HR Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
