Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, identify, and resolve performance, behavior, and attendance issues using prescribed performance management techniques.
- Address personnel and disciplinary issues in accordance with organizational policies.
- Provide subject matter expertise to Quality Control Analysts within the team.
- Ensure training needs of subordinates are identified and fulfilled effectively.
- Adapt to meet service level agreements under the supervision of the Operations Manager.
- Successfully complete all client-related training and maintain accurate records of the same.
- Conduct regular team meetings with direct reports to ensure alignment and communication.
- Communicate all process and client updates to direct reports within specified timelines and maintain documentation of such updates.
- Act as the single point of contact for assigned team members for all job-related needs and help create a harmonious work environment.
- Oversee day-to-day functional supervision of the work group, including work assignments and attendance monitoring.
- Provide input into the selection, training, development, and performance appraisal of team members in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements.
- Minimum of 56 years of professional and relevant experience in medical coding, with a specialization in ED Profee.
- Proven experience in client and stakeholder management, and team leadership.
- Must hold a valid coding certification such as CPC, CCS, COC, or AHIMA.
- Graduation in any discipline is acceptable.
