JD : Network & Security
Work Location : Mumbai(Work from Office)
Experience : 8+ years
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design & Implementation:
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and data center networks.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
- Implement and maintain switching infrastructure, including VLANs, trunking, and QoS.
- Security Engineering:
- Design, implement, and manage firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks) to protect network perimeters.
- Configure and manage intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
- Implement and manage load balancers (e.g., F5, Nginx, HAProxy) to distribute traffic effectively.
- Deploy and manage WAF (Web Application Firewall) solutions.
- Implement and maintain antivirus and anti-malware solutions.
- Integrate and manage Zscaler security services (e.g., Zscaler Internet Access, Zscaler Private Access).
- Cloud Connectivity:
- Design and implement secure and reliable connections to public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Oracle).
- Configure and manage VPN connections (e.g., IPsec, Site-to-Site VPN).
- Implement and manage cloud networking services (e.g., Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), virtual networks).
- Client Engagement:
- Conduct thorough requirements gathering sessions with clients.
- Scope projects, define deliverables, and create project plans.
- Collaborate with clients to ensure successful project implementation.
- Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to clients.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot network and security issues.
- Perform regular network maintenance tasks, including backups, upgrades, and patching.
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Maintain accurate network documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in network and security engineering.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, and switching technologies.
- Experience with firewalls, load balancers, WAFs, and other security appliances.
- Experience with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Oracle).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
