About CMR: CMR Green Technologies Limited is Indias largest producer of Aluminium and Zinc die-casting alloys with a combined annual capacity of over approx. 4, 18, 000 MT per annum. Since its inception in 2006, it has maintained its fast-paced growth by leveraging latest technology and continuous improvement. CMR, which recycles aluminium scrap to make alloy, has 28-30 percent market share in India and is nearly three times larger than its nearest competitor. We are having strong presence at PAN India level (North, West & South) with 13 manufacturing units, 5000 strong workforce and supplies to major automotive industry in India including tier one OEMs like Maruti Suzuki, Honda Cars, Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp and Royal Enfield Motors.

CMR Toyotsu Aluminium India Pvt. Ltd. - is a Joint Venture between CMR Green Technologies Ltd., India and Toyota Tsusho Corporation, Japan. With an annual production capacity of 42, 000 MT, CMRT was established in April 2014 in Sriperumbudur, near Chennai. The plant, spread over 9 acres, is equipped with facilities of a pump furnace, twin-shaft shredder, advanced sorting technology and baghouses. In 2019, CMRT started another plant in Vallam, near Chennai with annual production capacity of 24, 000 MT.

Department: Human Resource

Reporting to: Asst. General Manager - HR (Plant HR Head)

Qualification: Essential MBA / Post graduate degree or diploma in Human Resource management (2 years Full Time) from recognized Institute

Preferred: - Certificate -SAP HR or Degree/ Diploma in T & D

Experience: 5-8 yrs. of experience in a reputed organization.

The candidate should be well versed with speaking Hindi.

Job Profile: The objective of the role is to implement human resources strategies, systems, and processes that help the organization meet its goals and objectives and facilitate growth and development. The role is responsible for Core HR operation at plant level i.e., Manpower Planning & budget, Org Structure & JD, TA, Onboarding, PMS, T & D, Emp. Engagement, Shopfloor Initiatives, Group HR Initiatives (Policy drive, GPTW, Talent Mgmt. etc.), HR Presentation, HRMS (CMR Connect), Personal File Mgmt. etc.

Major Job includes...

Manpower Planning & Budgeting

Effective Manpower Planning & handling redundancy with a view to enhance productivity.

Create manpower plans and budgets in line with annual business plans. Finalizing the manpower budget in the beginning of the financial year

Monitor adherence to planned budgets (Salary, T & D, Admin, etc.)

Recruitment

Managing end to end recruitment process for all the requirements at the plant level

Prepare & track individual recruiter metrics (e.g. time to fill opening and cost per hire)

Formulation of Job Description

Responsible for preparing Job description for all key positions at plant level

Updating of Structures and Job Descriptions in the system as and when required

Talent Management

Implement Talent Management program as per organization framework

To guide the new entrants of Talent Pool members to create their Individual Development Plan.

To ensure MDPs of talent Pool members are reviewed & updated as per schedule.

Training & Development

To coordinate and deliver Training & Induction programs as per requirement of the organization.

Identify the training need for Blue Collars through gap analysis. Plan competency development program and co-ordinate with training agencies & internal trainers to impart various trainings.

HR Policies

To ensure effective implementation of all HR policies and procedures at Unit level.

To ensure implementation of the value and culture framework and adherence to policies

Performance Management System

Responsible for completion of PMS process at the Unit level

To work hand in gloves with managers for completion of Goal setting, Mid-Year Review & Annual Appraisals as per the intent of the process.

Employee Satisfaction survey

Implement & Drive Employee Satisfaction survey (GPTW) /Organizational Health/ Climate survey initiative for all level of employees viz Management cadre, Supervisory & workmen and initiate corrective actions in coordination with department in-charges

Analyze survey result of employee Satisfaction survey and present to the unit leadership team.

Drive action planning and ownership of action implementation.

Employees Engagement and Employee Relationship Building

Ensure internal communication to employees on key HR/ ER initiatives at plant level.

Plan & Implement various Employees Engagement activities like Town Halls, communication meet, Skip level meeting, Think Tank, Open door, Family Day, cake Day (Employee Birthday Celebration), suggestion scheme, Help Desk (Voice of Employee) solution within 24 hours etc. for all level of employees.

Drive various kind of Employee Reward & Recognition scheme especially related to blue color employees at unit level in coordination with department in-charges

Employees Communication

Prepare internal communication to employees on key HR initiatives.

TPM/ WCM & Sustainability Initiatives Implementation:

To ensure that TPM/WCM standards are rolled out at plant as per standard framework.

To facilitate & implement operational efficiency drives at shop floor level.

Core Competencies:

Good understanding about HRMS Operation of HR Automation like SAP HR/ success factor / Darwin box etc

Strong communication skills

High attention to detail, clarity

Candidate with strong exposure in screening, Stakeholder management skill, Excellent Communication Skills

Possess proactive attitude, excellent negotiating skill and capability to think in & out of the box.

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with proven abilities in people management, Excellent Team Management Skills

Good understanding of sourcing through different channel like Portals, LinkedIn, Reference etc.

Should be Proficient in MS office suite & Analytical skills

General: Age around 32 years.

Candidate should not be frequent job changer.

Along with regional languages basic knowledge of Hindi is mandatory.
