Job Description
We are looking for vigilant and experienced Security Officers and Supervisors to safeguard our mall premises, ensure the safety of all visitors and staff, and maintain a secure, orderly environment.
As a frontline presence, you will be responsible for preventing security breaches, managing emergencies, and upholding mall policies in a professional and courteous manner.Supervisors will additionally lead a team of officers, oversee shift schedules, and liaise with external security agencies and law enforcement when required.Key Responsibilities:
For Security Officers:
Patrol assigned areas of the mall to ensure property and visitor safety.Monitor CCTV systems and alarm panels.Control access to restricted areas, staff zones, and service entrances.Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or disturbances.Assist in evacuations and emergency drills as per SOPs.Provide assistance and directions to mall visitors.Write detailed incident and activity reports.Report suspicious behavior, hazards, or maintenance issues.For Security Supervisors (in addition to officer duties):
Supervise daily operations of the mall security team.Prepare duty rosters and ensure proper shift coverage.Train new officers on protocols and emergency response.Conduct briefings and debriefings before/after shifts.Handle escalated incidents, thefts, or customer complaints involving security.Ensure all systems (CCTV, access control, fire panels) are functional and serviced.Coordinate with police, fire, and medical services in case of major incidents.Regularly inspect security posts and personnel for alertness and compliance.
