Job Title: Learning & Development Specialist BFSI & Pharma (Enterprise Solutions)
Location: Anywhere in India (Bangalore/Delhi/Mumbai preferred)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Specialist to support our BFSI and Pharma enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in L&D, coupled with experience in client interaction, stakeholder management, and solutioning tailored training programs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for enterprise clients from the BFSI and Pharma sectors.
  • Engage with client stakeholders to gather, understand, and analyze their learning and development needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including content creators and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), to design customized training solutions.
  • Create personalized solution decks/proposals that showcase how upGrad can meet client-specific L&D requirements.
  • Ensure the training solutions align with industry standards, trends, and client expectations within BFSI and Pharma sectors.
  • Work closely with the Enterprise Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless delivery of proposed solutions.
  • Maintain a pulse on emerging L&D trends in BFSI and Pharma to provide proactive recommendations to clients.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably in a B2B or enterprise setting.
  • Hands-on experience working with clients in the Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI) and/or Pharmaceutical industries.
  • Strong consultative skills with the ability to translate business problems into learning interventions.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, requirement gathering, and solution design.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles and learning solution architecture is a plus.
