Job Description
Job Brief
We are seeking an individual with a strong attention to detail to join our team as a Mortgage Closer. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of mortgage procedures and a solid understanding of state and federal regulations. The primary responsibility of this role is to meticulously prepare documents for mortgage loan closing and effectively communicate with Loan Applicants and Closing Agents. Thus, we highly value a keen eye for details in this position.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Preparing loan closing documents.
- Making sure that all the documents are as per the loan terms.
- Identifying any errors or mistakes in the documents.
- Confirming accurate pricing program of insured loan.
- Coordinating with the applicants, Attorneys, Closing Agents, and vendors.
- Answering questions with respect to the loan processing procedures.
- Scheduling loan processing and ensuring it is closed accordingly.
- Calculating and presenting the present principal amount and the interest rate.
- Analysing and monitoring all the outstanding amounts before loan closure.
- Complying with the local, state, and federal regulations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and workplace guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline
- At least 1-4 years of experience as a full-fledged mortgage closer.
- Identify and document entire loan packages for a complete file.
- Well versed with closing documentation requirements and US Federal and State Regulations.
- Knowledge of standard mortgage nomenclature.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of industry standards and guidelines.
- Excellent problem solving ability.
- Good Verbal and written communication skills .
- Should have good analytical skills and have the ability to make decisions based on facts.
- Be a team player, adaptable to change, and ability to positively channelize pressure.
- Competent with MS office applications, LOS, LMS, Selling guide navigation.
- Should be flexible with both day & nightshift .
