What you will do:
As a Developer IV for thinkorswim web, you will join the team as a UI developer focused on Front End React UI development to deliver solutions for the business. We have a robust CI/CD pipeline that has integrated automation tests. As a developer, you will write and update cypress automation tests and collaborate with the QA Engineering team with the goal of the ensuring our automation tests provide the coverage and confidence that keeps us releasing every week without sacrificing quality.
What you are good at
Lead modernized User Experience applications for our clients using React, Redux, Typescript.
Maintain and enhance existing code base and support new feature requests
Define and implement design patters for UI components
Develop generic UI components and frameworks that can be leverages across all of our UI applications.
Optimize UI and presentation services to achieve performance and scaling goals
Engage on UX to develop next generation user experiences
Drive continuous integration and deployment strategies leveraging tools like Jenkins/Bamboo with a DevOps philosophy
Perform level three production support activities if the level one and level two teams are not able to resolve production issues
Search out and evangelize new and emerging technologies including open source tools
What you have
Experience in front-end web application development with JavaScript libraries/frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
Experience developing Single Page Applications using ReactJS
Working knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment and DevOps principles. Understanding of BDD and TDD styles
Object-oriented experience using Java
Demonstrated hands-on real-world experience in enterprise application development
Demonstrated experience in server-side service development and expertise with enterprise integration patterns (Java and spring stack experience preferred).
Experience using Pivotal Cloud Foundry platform or similar stack. Experience with developing and deploying Cloud ready applications
Experience in REST APIs and experience developing 12 factor applications
Exposure to Apache Kafka/ Rabbit MQ and other messaging frameworks
Demonstrated real world experience in software engineering principles, such as software design patterns
Demonstrated real world experience in database principles, such as SQL, Oracle, MongoDB or Hadoop
Thorough understanding of agile software development methodologies, values and procedures
The incumbent should have worked on -
* Should have strong experience in React.
* He should have good fundamental knowledge of DB Querying, front end development. TDD is good to have.
* Role requires member to work directly with client on a day on day basis.
* Knowledge of backend technologies like Java is good to have. Working knowledge of framework and web services is desired
