Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Test Manager with over 10 years of expertise in Manual and Automation Testing, specifically within the Healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end testing for critical healthcare applications, ensuring quality, compliance, and on-time delivery. Strong hands-on experience in Automation tools (Selenium, TOSCA), understanding of HIPAA and other healthcare regulations, and leadership of multi-disciplinary teams are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Test Strategy & Healthcare Compliance
- Define and manage test strategy, planning, and execution for healthcare applications, ensuring adherence to HIPAA, HITECH, FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Clinical SMEs, Development teams, and Clients to understand complex healthcare workflows, system integrations, and compliance needs.
- Drive Risk-Based Testing and ensure validation of PHI/PII data protection mechanisms.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage manual and automation test teams with a focus on healthcare domain testing including EHR/EMR, claims, enrollment, provider systems, and payer systems.
- Conduct regular daily stand-ups, defect triages, and status meetings with business and IT stakeholders.
- Align testing timelines with regulatory audits and product release schedules.
Test Execution & Automation Leadership
- Oversee functional, integration, regression, UAT, and compliance testing.
- Manage automation frameworks and drive test automation initiatives using Selenium, TOSCA focusing on model-based and data-driven testing approaches.
- Ensure test automation is integrated with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows for continuous testing.
- Manage API testing (FHIR, HL7, X12), database validations, and backend testing for healthcare applications.
Process Improvement & Quality Governance
- Drive continuous process improvement, test optimization, and automation acceleration.
- Ensure compliance with internal QA standards and healthcare-specific regulations.
- Lead initiatives for shift-left testing and early quality validation in SDLC.
Reporting & Documentation
- Create detailed test reports, dashboards, and defect metrics, highlighting compliance, quality risks, and coverage gaps.
- Ensure documentation meets regulatory and audit requirements, including traceability matrix, validation protocols, and evidence logs.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- 10+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on the Healthcare industry.
- Hands-on expertise in Automation Testing Tools:
- Selenium WebDriver (Java/Python/C#).
- TOSCA Testsuite (model-based testing, regression suites).
- Strong expertise in Manual Testing of healthcare workflows (claims, EHR, EMR, provider/payer systems).
- Good understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD, CPT, X12).
- Familiarity with Agile (Scrum, SAFe), Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
- Proficiency in Test Management Tools: JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, Rally, Zephyr, etc.
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline integration and DevOps environments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ISTQB/Agile Testing/Automation certification.
- Prior experience in leading QA teams for healthcare product implementations or migrations.
- Knowledge of cloud-based healthcare solutions (optional).
- Experience working in onsite-offshore distributed teams.
