Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
Work with Informatica to develop, maintain, and optimize ETL workflows and data transformation processes.
Perform SQL development and database optimizations to enhance performance and data processing.
Implement data validation, cleansing, and transformation logic to ensure high-quality and reliable data processing.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data integration requirements and design efficient solutions.
Develop data models and schema designs for efficient data storage and retrieval.
Work closely with DevOps teams to deploy and monitor data engineering pipelines in cloud environments (Azure preferred).
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ETL processes, and database performance to ensure seamless data flow.
Develop and manage RESTful APIs and integrate them with data services as needed.
Support Java-based applications that interact with data pipelines using Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, etc.).
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience with Informatica for ETL development and data integration.
5+ years of experience in SQL development with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle).
Strong experience in data engineering, data pipelines, and large-scale data processing.
Ability to analyze and define ETL rules based on business requirements.
Experience with cloud-based data solutions (Azure).
Proficiency in Java development, including Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, etc.).
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra and APIs with all types of authentications, concepts like pagination, http methods, etc.
Good knowledge of XML parsing and format.
Knowledge of SOAP API.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Hands-on experience with data warehousing solutions.
