Job Description

Senior Executive Accounts & Finance Location: Mumbai, Experience: 6 - 10 Years     Must-Have: 
For the AP/AR roles, we are looking for candidates who have handled multiple areas of finance/commercial as mentioned below:
Also, it is preferred to have a candidate with experience in retail.
SAP Hana - Working experience is fmandatory
Knowledge of TDS & GST/TCS.
Procure to pay process - PO creation, GRN, Vendor invoice accounting, vendor payments, import payments, etc
Month-end provisioning/ book closure activities.
Fixed Asset accounting
Vendor reconciliation/Credit card reconciliation/Sales & collection reconciliation.
Supporting the store operations/handling store-related queries.
Internal controls.
Good communication - Written & verbal
Advanced MS Excel
Senior executive role with hands-on experience in to Accounts receivable (AR).
B.com/M.Com background.   Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Master's degree in Commerce (M.Com).
7-10 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable management.
Strong hands-on experience with SAP and familiarity with other financial systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team environment.   Roles & Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable Management:
Oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in collections and invoicing.
Monitor and reconcile customer accounts to ensure all payments are received and allocated correctly.
Review aging reports and follow up on outstanding payments, addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly.
Provide support and guidance to the accounts receivable team, assisting with any complex or escalated matters.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and analyze periodic financial reports related to accounts receivable.
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as days sales outstanding (DSO) and collection efficiency.
Identify trends, patterns, and potential risks, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with the finance team to provide accurate and timely information for financial planning and forecasting.
Commercial Experience and SAP:
Utilize hands-on experience with SAP to perform daily accounting activities, including invoicing, posting receipts, and credit control.
Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders, such as customers and vendors, to resolve billing discrepancies and address payment inquiries.
Assist in the implementation and enhancement of AR systems and processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Communication and Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including finance, sales, and customer service teams, to align processes and resolve issues effectively.
Communicate and negotiate with customers to ensure prompt and accurate payments, facilitating dispute resolution when necessary.
Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, delivering accurate information, and addressing concerns.
Compliance and Audit:
Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations in accounts receivable processes.
Support internal and external audits, providing requested documentation and explanations related to accounts receivable activities.
Identify and implement control measures to minimize the risk of fraud or errors in accounts receivable operations.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements to suggest and implement process improvements.
Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives related to accounts receivable, contributing expertise and insights.
Train and mentor junior team members, promoting professional growth and knowledge sharing within the department.
