Manage training requirements of assigned employees.
Work closely with Manning personnel, providing input on employee vessel assignments and the
promotion process and where necessary undertake performance improvement procedures for
the assigned employees as required.
Manage the recruitment of cadets and assist in the hiring of competent, experienced sea staff
Design and deliver training and development programs for employees across all levels and departments of the company, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge to perform their job duties effectively.
Collaborate with the HR team and management to identify training needs and develop customized learning plans that address those needs.
Research new and innovative training methods and technologies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the training programs.
Coordinate and manage logistics for training events, including scheduling, by interacting with the manning team
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the training programs and make recommendations for improvements.
Maintain accurate records of employee training and development activities.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines related to training and development activities.
