Role Objective
We are seeking a dynamic professional who can seamlessly blend the roles of a Market Research Analyst and Product Manager in the Big Data Analytics domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting market research, identifying industry trends, and shaping data-driven product strategies. With expertise in Data Lake, Data Warehousing (DWH), Business Intelligence (BI), and AI solutions, you will drive product innovation while ensuring market alignment.
Key Deliverables
Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive intelligence in the Big Data & AI landscape.
- Analyse customer pain points, business needs, and emerging AI/ML, BI, and data engineering technologies.
- Develop market segmentation strategies based on industry demands and data-driven insights.
- Provide detailed reports and recommendations for product positioning and go-to-market strategies.
Product Strategy & Roadmap Development:
- Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for Big Data Analytics solutions.
- Align product development with market needs, customer feedback, and emerging AI/ML trends.
- Prioritize features and product enhancements related to Data Lake, DWH, BI, and AI solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineering, data science, and business units) to drive product innovation Knowledge
- Big Data Technologies: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, NoSQL, Hive, etc.
- Data Warehousing (DWH): ETL/ELT processes, SQL, OLAP, and database design.
- Business Intelligence (BI): Apache Superset, Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP for data and AI workloads.
Market Research Methods:
- Competitor analysis, industry trend analysis, customer segmentation.
- Product Management Practices: Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Jira, A/B testing, product lifecycle management.
- Data Governance & Security: GDPR, CCPA, data privacy, regulatory compliance.
Skill - Essential
Product Strategy & Management:
1. Strong ability to analyse market needs and translate them into actionable product strategies. 2. Experience conducting competitor benchmarking and market feasibility studies.
3. Knowledge of pricing models, customer behavior analytics, and product positioning.
4. Ability to define and track KPIs and success metrics for product performance evaluation.
Stakeholder & Project Management:
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills to align engineering, business, and data science teams.
- Ability to manage product roadmaps, define MVPs, and drive iterative product improvements.
- Strong experience with Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog management. Effective communication skills to present data-driven insights and product recommendations.
Technical & Analytical Skills:
- Strong understanding of Big Data Analytics & AI/ML models.
- Ability to analyse complex datasets, market trends, and customer behaviours.
- Hands-on experience with data-driven decision-making and predictive analytics.
- Knowledge of BI reporting, data visualization, and dashboard design.
- Experience in defining and managing data governance policies and compliance.

Qualifications- (Minimum)
Bachelors in computer science, business analytics or market research
Qualifications (Preferred-)
MBA (Analytics, AI, Product Management, or Market Strategy)
Market Research & Business Intelligence Certifications Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) for Agile Product Management.
Experience Minimum: 10+ years
