- Aligning the College's strategies and plans with local and regional priorities.
- Ensuring quality provision balances with financial sustainability.
- Playing a key strategic role in the city's leadership, collaborating with stakeholders to elevate the College's profile.
- Securing continuous improvement in teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Supporting staff with performance management and professional development.
- Ensuring that the Board is aware of the effectiveness of teaching, learning, and assessment practices.
- Developing partnerships that align with the College's objectives and contribute to the city's prosperity.
- Serving as the lead ambassador and principal spokesperson for the College, safeguarding its reputation.
- Providing leadership that inspires and motivates colleagues to achieve excellent outcomes.
- Promoting a culture of success, quality, respect for diversity, and exceptional customer service within the college.
- Serving as the Chief Accounting Officer, ensuring financial stability and effective deployment of resources.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory responsibilities and effective risk management.
